Sasha Harris DVM: A Valley native, Dr. Sasha Harris (formerly Sasha Schroeder) grew up in Mission and was an active participant in the 4-H program, locally and at the county and state level. After graduating from Sharyland High School, she attended Texas A&M University, receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science in 2003. Dr. Harris continued her education and obtained her Master’s Degree in Animal Science in 2005. She was accepted into the professional curriculum in 2006 and was awarded her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2010.
Dr. Harris is a member of the Valley Veterinary Medical Association (VVMA), Texas Veterinary Medial Association (TVMA), American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Dr. Harris enjoys Valley life with her husband and fellow veterinarian Dr. Mickey Harris and their many pets: three dogs: a puppy yet to be named, Jake, and Remington; two cats: Mabel and Blackie and two quarter horses: Joni and Pita. Dr Harris enjoys spending time with family and being in the great outdoors.
